Description
This photograph shows the men’s baseball team on the steps of Bradley Hall. Team players are named in the 1906 Polyscope. Back row left to right: Edwin Lidle, first base; Raymond Hammer, pitcher; Ross Canterbury Jr., pitcher; Theodore Fluegel, second base and captain; Frank Linderman, center field; and Harry Becker, pitcher. Front and middle row left to right: Howard Mellow, right field; Roger Schenk, third base; Frank Citron, catcher; James Hayward, short-stop and team manager; and Frank Mercer, left field. The team played a thirteen-game season during April and May winning five games and losing seven games. The final game went unreported.
