Description
This photograph of a Bradley accounting class offers a rare glimpse into a 1930s classroom. Pictured second from left is Loyal G. Tillotson, the first faculty member and later first dean of the Department of Business Administration and Economics (now Foster College of Business).
According to the 1938 Bradley Bulletin, the school offered four courses in accounting.
The student pictured wearing the Bradley letter sweater (fourth from right) is Clayton Eigsti. Eigsti graduated in 1938 and provided information about this photograph during his 50th class reunion on Oct. 13, 1988.
