Raising the B photograph, 1948

In this photo, a group of students raise the "B" for Homecoming week in 1948. The traditional Bradley “B” first adorned Bradley Hall for Homecoming in 1928. Designed by students in the mechanical drawing, woodworking, and electrical departments, the original “B” was 8-feet tall and adorned with 200 lights. The current "B" has been updated with LED lighting.
