First master's degree commencement at Bradley photograph, 1947

This photograph depicts Thomas F. Clark, Pearl G. Marrs, and Romeo B. Garrett receiving the first master's degrees conferred by Bradley University. After earning his doctorate at New York University, Garrett joined the faculty in Bradley's sociology department and became the institution's first Black professor.
